Charles (“CJ”) Hura is the Founder and Owner of Select Rentals, where he manages a portfolio of 12 homes in the Lake Wallenpaupack region. With extensive experience in real estate, CJ previously served as Vice President of Portfolio Management and Asset Management at GMF Capital, a $4 billion private equity firm overseeing the financial forecasting of over 180 assets. His role encompassed acquisitions, asset management, and investor relations, contributing to GMF Capital’s ownership of over 40,000 apartments nationwide. Prior to that, CJ spent six years as an Investment Banker at J.P. Morgan, focusing on technology companies and participating in over 50 transactions in equity, debt, and M&A. In addition to his work with Select Rentals, he is a partner at WhiteRock RE, a value-add multifamily investment firm based in Nashville, TN. CJ graduated with high honors from Penn State University in 2012, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, working on cars, and spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
